• Account information — your email address and name when you sign in through our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Questionnaire answers — the details you provide about your housing situation. These are used to generate your assessment and report.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We receive a record of the transaction (amount, date, confirmation).
• Generated reports — your paid case analysis is stored so you can access it again without paying twice.

How we use your data

• To generate your free assessment and paid case report.
• To process your payment and send a receipt.
• To let you access your report again after purchase.
• To improve the service (aggregated, non-personal analysis).

Who we share data with

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Clerk — authentication. Stores your email and login credentials.
• Stripe — payment processing. Handles your card details directly.
• Anthropic — AI processing. Your questionnaire answers are sent to generate your report. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
• Supabase — database hosting. Stores your report and payment records.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone else.

How we protect your data

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers. Database access is restricted to authenticated service connections only.

How long we keep your data

• Reports and payment records — kept for 2 years, then deleted.
• Account data — kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
• Free assessments — not stored. Generated in real time and not saved.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email support@myrentrights.co.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and payment processing. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
