What this service is
MyRentRights helps UK tenants understand their housing rights by analysing their situation against current UK housing legislation. We use AI to cross-reference your answers against the relevant statutes. This includes a free assessment and a paid case analysis report.
This is legal information, not legal advice. We are not a law firm. Our reports do not create a solicitor-client relationship. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified solicitor.
Using the service
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
- You must provide accurate information about your housing situation. The quality of your report depends on the accuracy of your answers.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to generate misleading legal claims.
Payments and refunds
- The paid case analysis costs a one-time fee displayed at checkout (currently £8.99).
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Your report is available immediately after payment and can be accessed again at any time.
- If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving your report, contact support@myrentrights.co.uk and we will resolve it or issue a full refund.
- Because the report is digital content delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Before paying, you will be asked to confirm that you consent to immediate delivery and waive your 14-day cancellation right, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- We are not VAT registered. The price shown is the total price you pay.
What we deliver
Each paid report includes:
- Relevant legislation with section references.
- A compensation estimate where applicable.
- A step-by-step action plan with suggested deadlines.
- An evidence checklist for your case.
- A template letter you can send to your landlord or agent.
All reports are based on UK housing legislation and use AI to analyse your situation against the relevant statutes. Reports are not produced by a solicitor or legal professional. While we work to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every detail will apply perfectly to your specific circumstances. You should verify any steps with a qualified solicitor before taking legal action.
Limitations of liability
- We provide information to help you understand your rights. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our reports.
- We do not guarantee any specific legal outcome from following the steps in a report.
- Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
- We are not liable for any loss arising from inaccurate information you provide in the questionnaire.
Intellectual property
The reports we generate are for your personal use. You may share them with a solicitor, advisor, or relevant authority. You may not resell or redistribute reports commercially.
Your data
We handle your data in accordance with our privacy policy. In short: we collect what we need to provide the service, we do not sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
